RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT THE NONPROFIT ROBBINS HOME HELD A FOOD TRUCK AND ROCK FEST IN BUTLER TO CELEBRATE WOMEN VETERANS DAY. PEOPLE ENJOYED LIVE MUSIC VENDORS AND A FLAG CEREMONY. ROBBINS HOME EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MARY CHITWOOD GOT A BIG SURPRISE AT THE FEST. SHE WAS PRESENTED WITH AN AWARD FROM THE NATIONAL COALITION OF HOMELESS VETERANS CALLED THE UNSUNG YOUNG HERO AWARD. THE REPRESENTATIVE FROM MIKE KELLEY’S OFFICE DROVE TO WASHINGTON, D.C. YESTERDAY TO PICK UP MY AWARD FROM THE NATIONAL COALITION FOR HOMELESS VETERANS. I COULDN’T BE THERE BECAUSE I WAS AT A CONVENTION, THE MARINE CORPS CONVENTION, MONROEVILLE, YESTERDAY AS THEIR GUEST SPEAKER. SO I WAS UNALE TO GO TO DC TO RECEIVE THE UNSUNG HERO AWARD. SO THEY PRESENTED IT TODAY TO ME. AND THAT AWARD IS GIVEN TO SOMEONE WHO GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND EXPECTATIONS FOR HOMELESS VETERANS. PROCEEDS FROM THE FESTIVAL WILL
