NOVEMBER 11. A POPULAR NORTH HILLS RESTAURANT CLOSING ITS DOORS AFTER 71 YEARS IN BUSINESS. THOSE OF CHRYSLER’S TAVERN ALONG BABCOCK BOULEVARD SAY THEIR LAST DAY WILL BE DECEMBER 31ST. IN A FACEBOOK POST, THE OWNERS THANKED THE CUSTOMERS, THE COMMUNITY AND THEIR STAFF FOR KEEPING THEM IN BUSINESS ALL THESE YEARS.

A popular North Hills restaurant is closing its doors after 71 years in business. The owners of Kretzler's Tavern along Babcock Boulevard in Ross Township say their last day will be Dec. 31. In a Facebook post, the owners thanked the customers, the community and their staff for keeping them in business all these years. The building will be taken over by the owners of Mike and Tony's Gyros.
