Sheldon Ingram is a general assignment reporter for Pittsburgh’s Action News 4.

Sheldon joined the WTAE team in 1992. After graduating from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, he spent time reporting in Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia.

Outside of the newsroom, Sheldon is greatly involved in his community. He is on the board of advisers for The Homeless Children Defense Fund and was a former board member at Every Child Inc. adoption agency. Sheldon is a volunteer scuba diver at Pittsburgh’s Zoo and Aquarium and a volunteer cyclist for the Pittsburgh Marathon.

He is the proud father of Sheldon Jr. and the owner of two exotic Bengal cats. Sheldon is from Atlantic City, N.J.
